Sometimes you just need a nice, quiet place to get away from the bustling city. Sometimes you just want to see something new, something different. The city offers a variety of garden places where you can sit down and just enjoy all the plants and flowers. There are gardens located from the north side of the city, all the way to the south side. Some even offer a water view, depending on whether it’s close enough to the lake or a body of water.

The city’s gardens offer a variety of unique flowers and plants, extending from cacti and succulents in the Garfield Park Conservatory to local wildflowers in our community gardens and parks. These places offer a serene environment to escape to while also providing striking visuals of colors and petals to alleviate the days strain on. Whether you’re looking to visit by yourself or come with others, you’ll always have a good time appreciating the gifts that Mother Nature has to offer.

Chicago’s gardens are definitely worth a visit, so to plan your next visit, a map of a select couple of gardens has been provided below. You don’t want to miss out on all the incredible visuals and pretty plants. Happy exploring!
